Acidreflex And What To Do About It

Acidreflex
Just a simple mention of the word acidreflex and many people are going to roll their eyes and groan.  The reason why this is the case is because so many of us have to put up with this disease on a regular basis that it becomes very frustrating.  Some of us have been fighting it for years and we may take a variety of different medications in order to help us overcome it.  This is especially the case whenever over the counter medications, such as Rolaids or Tums no longer do the job.

One of the more frustrating things about acidreflex is the fact that it tends to happen to us the most during the night.  When was the last time that you woke up feeling as if your chest was on fire and not sure if you are going to be sick or not?  For many of us, this is a common occurrence and certainly one that we do not want to put up with regularly.  That is why the majority of us end up on a prescription medication in order to handle the problem permanently instead of doing little things in order to handle it on a temporary basis.

Believe it or not, a prescription medication may actually not be the best way for you to handle acidreflex.  The reason why this is the case is because a prescription medication is going to take away the acid feeling that you have but it is really only taking care of the symptom, not curing the problem.  One of the main problems with those of us that suffer from this issue is the fact that we don't have enough stomach acid in order to effectively digest our food.  We need to build up the stomach acid naturally and then the problem will naturally go away.

That is why one of the best ways that I have of healing acidreflex naturally it is by drinking green smoothies.  By blending the greens and breaking them down into small particles, they become easy for our body to digest and they also help to build up the acid within our stomach.  Once the acid is that good levels, it will effectively digest our food and we will notice that the problem begins to go away.
